Everything you need, in one place
And we keep adding more, to make learning easier for you.
Why and how I started Sunnah Daily
Assalamu alaikum. I'm Sheikh. That's my name, not a title. I'm not a scholar. I'm a Muslim like you, trying every day to become the person Allah wants me to be, and to follow the way of the Prophet ﷺ a little more closely.
When I started, I kept jumping from one website to another, and from one app to another. Which hadith is strong? Which one is weak? Where did this claim even come from? Checking all of that across so many places was really hard.
So I built one place for myself. Somewhere I could trust what I had already researched, with every verse and hadith checked and its source right there.
I kept adding to it for my own use. The Quran to read and to listen to. Hadith. The stories of our prophets, peace be upon them. Help with daily life, family, marriage and money. It grew much bigger than I ever planned, alhamdulillah.
Then I realized: everything is already here, in one place. Why keep it to myself? So I added learning paths for people who are new to Islam, for people starting to learn for the first time, for people who feel stuck, and for people coming back to their deen. And I opened it up for everyone.
My hope is simple: that you can come here, read, learn, and grow in your deen, without having to go anywhere else. InshaAllah, I will keep adding to it. And every source is tagged, so you can always check it for yourself.
May Allah make your journey easy, and put barakah in everything you learn. Ameen.

Your journey so far
This is saved only on your own phone. Nobody else sees it, not even me.
How every word is checked
Tap each step.
-
Every post starts with something real people ask. Can I celebrate birthdays? Is a mortgage haram? Why do women wear hijab?
-
Before a hadith goes into a post, it is checked against the full collection on this site, with its grade. If scholars graded it weak, the post says so or leaves it out. And every two to four weeks I check every verse, hadith, grade, name of Allah and dua on the site again, so everything stays in place.
-
Short sentences and everyday English, so anyone, anywhere, can read it. Where scholars differ, the post shows both views and does not pick for you.
-
Every post ends with its sources. Tap one and the actual verse or hadith opens. Try it: charity never makes your money less (Sahih Muslim 2588).
Our promises
- No ads. Nothing here is selling you anything.
- No tracking cookies. Only a simple count of visits.
- No account. Your progress stays on your own phone.
- Always sourced. If it is about the deen, it has a source you can open.
About the blog posts
A new post goes up every day, inshaAllah. Each one takes a real question people ask about marriage, family, money or faith, and answers it from the Quran and the hadith, in plain words.
At the end of every post you will find its sources. Tap any of them and the actual verse or hadith opens, so you can read it yourself.
Most posts simply share what the Quran and the hadith say. A few share my own thoughts on a topic. Those start from the Quran and the hadith too, and the note at the end of the post makes it clear which one you are reading.
If you have a question about a post, write to me. I read every message and I reply.

If a page does not look right on your phone, a button does not work, or you would like something changed or added to the site, email me. Tell me what you saw, and whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer. A screenshot helps a lot.
InshaAllah, I will fix it within a day of reading your email.
What this site is not
As I said, I am not a mufti or a scholar. I share what I learn with the sources attached, so you never have to take my word for it.
That means Sunnah Daily is a place to learn, not a place for fatwas. Where scholars disagree, I show you both views and I do not pick one for you. For a ruling about your own life, please ask a scholar you trust.
Where every source comes from
- The Quran - the Uthmani Arabic text from the Tanzil Project, with the Clear Quran for every English verse (Translation by Talal Itani, ClearQuran.com). A verse cited in a post links to that verse in the Quran reader.
- Hadith - the six books (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, Jami` at-Tirmidhi, Sunan an-Nasa'i, Sunan Ibn Majah), in Arabic and English, with the grading the scholars gave each narration. A narration from outside the six books is named by its collection and grader, and does not link.
- The source line - every blog post ends with the verses and narrations it is built on, in the order they are used.
- Everything else - the recitations, the tafsir, the word-by-word meanings, the prayer times and the data behind the tools are credited in full on the source credits page.
