Generations after Adam, people slowly slid into worshipping idols, statues of righteous men their ancestors had loved. Allah sent Nuh with one message: worship Allah alone. Nuh called them for nine hundred and fifty years (Quran 29:14). By day and by night, in public and one by one. Most of them mocked him, plugged their ears, and doubled down.
Then Allah commanded something absurd to every watching eye: build a massive ship, far from any sea. Nuh built while they laughed. When the water came, from the sky and from the ground, the laughing stopped. The believers and pairs of every creature rode safely. Nuh's own son, who chose the mountain over the ark, learned that nothing can shield anyone from Allah's decree except Allah. The flood passed, the ark settled, and humanity restarted from the people of faith.
